The South Carolina state is a southeastern U.S. state is  known for its marshlike sea islands and shoreline of subtropical beaches. South Carolina Coastal Charleston may be a historic city, defined by pastel-colored houses, Old South plantations and Fort Sumter, where the Civil War’s opening shots were fired.

In South Carolina state, after the American war , it had been readmitted into the us on June 25, 1868. South Carolina state name honors King Charles I of England, who was the first to establish the English colony, with Carolus being Latin for “Charles”.

Secession
