Pennsylvania state is a state in the Northeastern, Great Lakes , Appalachian, and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United State.  Pennsylvania state, the Commonwealth state is border is by Delaware to the southeast, Maryland to the south, the West Virginia to the southwest, the Ohio to the west, Lake Erie and thus the province of Canadian of Ontario to the northwest, NY to the north, and New Jersey to the east, while the Appalachians is running through its middle.

 

History

 

One of the primary 13 colonies in Pennsylvania was founded by Penn as a haven for his fellow Quakers. The capital of Pennsylvania’s state is  called Philadelphia. In the American war (1861-1865), Pennsylvania state was the location of the Battle of Gettysburg, in which Union General George Meade defeated Confederate General Robert E. Lee,

Pennysylvania state was given a name  by Governor Penn after his arrival within the New World in the year 1682, Philadelphia used the combination of the Greek words for love (phileo) and brother (adelphos), gender its nickname of “the city of brotherly love.” On the month of September 18, 1777,Pennsylvania state was afraid that the approaching British army would seize and melt the liberty Bell for ammunition, 200 cavalrymen transported the long-lasting symbol of freedom by caravan right from the Philadelphia State House to the basement of the Zion Reformed Church in Allentown, 

Now the most important city in Pennsylvania, Philadelphia served because the nation’s capital from 1790 until a permanent capital was established in Washington, D.C., in 1800. In Philadelphia both the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution were signed In Pennsylvania state, on July of 1952, Salk developed the primary polio vaccine from the killed virus at the University of Pittsburgh. The vaccine First tested on himself and his family, the vaccine was made available nation-wide a couple of years later, which reduced the amount of polio cases from nearly 29,000 in 1955 to less than 6,000 in 1957.

Pennsylvania's State is made of a blue field on which the State Coat of Arms is embroidered.  In Pennsylvania's State draft horses are placed on either side of the coat of arms and therefore the bald eagle rests on the highest .
